* Keep - This is the largest mapping service for mobile devices, and is up there, notability wise with Google Maps and Yahoo! Maps. If this was small service by a small company the deletion would've been valid. Not in this case. Proper references have also provided and this article is not selling/advertising any aspect of the Nokia Maps service. —IncidentFlux [ TalkBack | Contributions ] 18:38, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

**No, MikeM2011, didn't think it was necessary for that whole process. The corporate acquisition of Traffic.com was by Navteq, not HERE. The renaming to HERE was a rebranding, not a merger. Since the Traffic article was small, half fluff/clutter, generally uncited, and easy to clear from the queue, I jumped on it. Of course, you can reverse if you feel my reasoning is wrong. Merger discussion

[edit]

Requesting a consensus on merging Traffic.com into this article. Here is Traffic.com's successor after Nokia acquired its former parent, Navteq; typically in these situations there aren't separate articles. The Traffic.com article is also quite dated and lacks citations, and any notable history should be integrated into the Here Technologies article. MikeM2011 (talk) 19:23, 2 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment - @GenQuest - was there a consensus to merge Traffic.com into Navteq instead? I didn't see any unless I'm looking in the wrong place. MikeM2011 (talk) 03:31, 3 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    • No, MikeM2011, didn't think it was necessary for that whole process.
