New name
Their name has been changed to Hey Girl (黑Girl) after their move to Warner. I would be renaming the pages.

Differentiate between the show and the group?
I'm thinking that this page should probably be just for the group, and not the show. Perhaps a separate page should be created. The notion that "Channel V picked nine members to represent the other girls, as 60 girls would be difficult to fit on a stage" is untrue, since the purpose of the show in the beginning was to create new singers and groups, and there weren't 60 girls yet when the nine girls were chosen. Also, it seems dubious that 40 or 50 girls were selected in the beginning, though I cannot be sure of this, as I was not a viewer (still not, really).

I'm keeping this part here temporarily, as it could be used for a Wo Ai He She Hui page with some edits on its fluency.

Every week 20 of the girls star in the variety show Wo Ai Hei Se Hui (我愛黑澀會). The program's host is Blackie (黑人), and the girls form his "society." Famous singers and actors, such as Jolin Tsai, Alan Luo, and S.H.E, are featured as guests on the show. Sometimes they do activities without a celebrity guest where only the girls are involved. The group also actively participates in community service activities. They select more girls every once in a while, and there are currently about 60 so far.

"The change in name resulted from the company's concerns that scandulous acts of other members of the show Wo Ai Hei She Hui would be associated with Hei She Hui Mei Mei". Can someone please re-explain this. What is meant by scandulous acts??? Also isn't the group technically "Black girl"???? Da Ya and the admin at Woo.com's forums said the English name is Hey Girl... (News atricles in Chinese also pointed this out.) And the scandolous acts part came from the same news articles concerning the name change (which I'll still need to dig up). I'll change "acts" to "rumors." ==Gui Gui isn't leaving Hey Girls==
I have edited the part where it states Gui Gui will be leaving Hey Girls.

Gui Gui left the show not the group, the group comes under a different management which Gui Gui is still contracted too, she only left Channel V.

Andy Ge had publicly announced that Gui Gui will be leaving Channel V but this does not change her status with Hey Girls, her leaving Hey Girls would have to be confirmed with Warner Music, who owns Hey Girls.

Position of group members
I have also removed the position heading under the group members as this seemed more of a fan addition rather then official statements.

Apple and Da Ya, while they also have many solo parts they can not be considered as lead vocals, as each member of the group are given solo parts.

Xiao Xun is not a lead vocal as she rarely has solo parts, this 'lead vocal' status is definitely a fan addition, if counted the Mei Mei has more solo parts then Xiao Xun.

You may dispute my decision but this is based on listening to their albums and their mv's.

Remove language English and changed name of Other
I have changed the heading 'Other' to 'Profession', as that was what it was listing.

I have also removed English under 'Language' as ALL of the members speak basic English and can not be considered as knowing English.

They can't hold a simple conversation then they don't know English, else anyone who knows how to say 'ni hao' knows Mandarin and anyone who knows 'ciao' knows Italian.

Also, on the subject of languages, none of them speak Taiwanese/Min? I find that a little hard to believe. 125.37.165.27 (talk) 17:30, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

Xiao Man's scandal
I have rewrote the Xiao Man's scandal section as this was actually a translation of the news article on Asianfanatics.

When adding information, please check your spelling and if your quoting please list the source, it is advisable that you give a brief summary of the news instead of sticking the whole article in. Also if possible, research the news from different sites before changing or adding, news reports tend to be exaggerated and is a lot of the time very untrustworthy. especially news about public figures as they are open to criticism and intentional misunderstanding of their words.

help keep the standard of Wikipedia high.

Famous singers and actors, such as Jolin Tsai, Alan Luo, and S.H.E, are featured as guests on the show. Sometimes they do activities without a celebrity guest where only the girls are involved. The group also actively participates in community service activities. They select more girls every once in a while, and there are currently about 60 so far.
