On Lilian Gish's page, this same photo is posted, but instead of saying the woman is Mary Gish, it says: "Dorothy and Lillian Gish with actress Helen Ray, their leading lady in Her First False Step (1903)." So who is the woman? Is this the girls' mother, Mary, or is it actress Helen Ray? It can't be both.
