Hi, the sentance "The movie The Poker House is based on her life." is prettey serious to be included with no refernce, and the page for that movie does not state any biographical relationship. I have deleted it for now, if anyone knows more, add it back with i refrence i guess! :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Missannafjmorris (talk • contribs) 17:49, 8 June 2013 (UTC)

You shouldn't have deleted it, the simplest search for Lori Petty finds plenty of reliable sources for this. I don't have time to deal with this now, but here's a reliable reference if anyone else cares to fix this.

Her early life section could use a lot of expounding, including citations. I included one citation from the LA Times. Bdavid1111 (talk) 01:01, 18 August 2023 (UTC)

[edit]

Is this the same Lori Petty that sings vocals with Stevie Nicks? Just wondering
-- Aelfgifu 23:04, 8 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure that Lori Petty used to wrestle under the name "Attache'" for the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW).

No she didnt play Attache in GLOW, they do look a lot alike, and I gave seen that rumour once or twice down the years.

absolved

[edit]

The article states her contract was absolved. This is incorrect. Absolution is forgiveness by a priest in the sacrament of penance. The correct legal term would be dissolved, i.e., "her contract was dissolved."

Superman

[edit]

I am continuing in my application of superman project tags to voice actors within the superman family. Petty plays Livewire on TAS ---K3vin (talk)

Removed libelous material

[edit]

I removed unsourced material about a DUI conviction. Please find reliable sources before allowing this material. V. Joe (talk) 16:10, 30 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thats because you are a control freak. Things that are TRUE are NOT libelous. Now I know why I HATE Wikipedia so much. Overzealous pompous ass egotistical biased and censorious. Here is the Link Genius! http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/32694618/ns/today-entertainment/t/lori-petty-gets-years-probation-dui-case/76.246.235.134 (talk) 22:57, 13 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please be nice. You shouldn't have added it without a reference. I've added the info referencing that article, which is a reliable source (AP article).—Chowbok

@Chowbok- Thank You and You are correct. I apologize...76.246.235.134 (talk) 16:24, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lori Petty's health

[edit]

I was a big fan of all the Michael J Fox's movies and his odd way of rolling his head to the side and motioning with his hand I found charming but these movements got increasingly more pronounced and by the end of his time on Spin City we found out he had Parkinson's. Lori also has charming but odd ways of moving her arms and head and I've been waiting to hear the same announcement about her. She played the role of the Huntington's patient on House so well that people in medical profession were asking if she was actually sick. So is she taking roles like this because she is sick or is she perfectly fine with idiosyncratic hand gestures? I looked for sources but can't find any. Maybe she just deserves an Emmy for the portrayal of that Huntington patient. 97.85.163.245 (talk) 04:23, 29 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nationality

Her early life section could use a lot of expounding, including citations. I included one citation from the LA Times. Bdavid1111 (talk) 01:01, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
