The original WVOK
[edit]These calls are legendary in the state of Alabama thanks to the long-time 50,000 Watt AM blowtorch in Birmingham. Heck, Vern Gosdin even recorded a song called "WVOK, Birmingham". This article needs a thorough history section to cover these decades of service to the people of Alabama. Here are a few links to get started with ( [1], [2], [3], [4] ) when time is avaialble to expand this article. - Dravecky 18:27, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
