[[:Wang Yi (Zhao Ang's wife)]] → {{no redirect|Wang Yi (Cao Wei)}} – The main reason I'm bringing this up is that [[Zhao Ang]] is currently a red link. The subject has a disambiguation tag that implies their notability derives from someone who inspires so little interest that in the decade-plus Wikipedia's been around, noone's thought it worthwhile to create an article for him, not even a one-sentence stub. This is even despite the fact that said red link is currently in the first sentence of this article, which gets a not-insignificant amount of views (5336 over the past 90 days). I just think we can come up with a better disambiguation label than the current one, so I'm proposing this to see if anyone agrees. I'm not entirely happy with the label I'm suggesting, so if you have one you think would be better, feel free to suggest it. *'''Comment''' Rafe de Crespigny's ''Biographical Dictionary of the Later Han and the Three Kingdoms'' describes her as thus in the first sentence: "Wang Yi 王異 or Shi Yi 士異, the Lady. Wife of Zhao Ang of Hanyang" (p. 839). It seems best to create the article for Zhao Ang as Lds suggested, since he is the major player in the mutiny against Ma Chao. That he doesn't have an article here does not speak against his notability, but instead highlights Wikipedia's systemic biases. Wang Yi (Zhao Ang's wife) → Wang Yi (Cao Wei) – The main reason I'm bringing this up is that Zhao Ang is currently a red link. Egsan Bacon (talk) 02:19, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
- Doubtful - the problem is that when the texts/sources call her e.g. 趙昂妻異 (Zhao Ang's wife Yi) her own family name isn't the most precise or recognizable element of her name. Some examination of English Google Books is called for here before anyone !votes. In ictu oculi (talk) 05:06, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
- Strongly Oppose the last mention of the woman on this page was Battle of Lucheng in 213 AD. Cao Wei didn't begin until 220 AD. If anything it should be Wang Yi (Han dynasty). Timmyshin (talk) 06:23, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
- This is not advisable. Rafe de Crespigny counts 7 "Wang Yi"s during the Eastern Han alone. _dk (talk) 09:51, 6 September 2014 (UTC)
