Show Cost and Success

[edit]

This show's season 1 cost 100M$ (http://www.denofgeek.com/us/tv/rome/252090/hbos-rome-ending-was-originally-very-different), which is outstanding on its own. Many shows on wikipedia have information about how much they cost, how big the audience and how profitable they were. It seems like this article would benefit from this information. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.18.140.223 (talk) 19:39, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Citations

[edit]

What's the deal with showing only the year of publication of reference material? Though I agree with tidy dates (2010-03-12, say) the loss of month and day info can make digging up dead links a bit harder. --Lexein (talk) 19:17, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cancellation and future - film

[edit]

Heritage Key heritage-key.com (HBO's Rome to Make Movie Comeback as Bona Dea) can't be considered RS for "Bona Dea" or the 2011 release date, because its two stated sources (the Kidd and Stevenson interviews) mention neither. The title and date have been mentioned in blogs and on IMDB, but no RS yet. Be patient! WP:CRYSTAL --Lexein (talk) 15:14, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There are now a number of reliable sources that have mentioned the film project to be on hold. No 2011 release date. I have to double check the sources but will return when I have everything.--Amadscientist (talk) 21:29, 17 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Basic for Atia

[edit]

Under cast. For Polly Walker as Atia of the Julii it says at the end: Rome Historical Consultant Jonathan Stamp identifies the historical figure Clodia as the primary basis for the character of Atia. This needs some kind of citation or attribution. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Captainkrook420 (talkcontribs) 12:11, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. For that character is totally wrong for Augustus' mother - this person is amoral rather than religious and moral, as the prototype was.203.184.41.226 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 00:55, 19 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
