Carolyn has served as Carolyn I of the self-proclaimed [[micronation]] of [[Ladonia (micronation)|Ladonia]] since 2 June 2011, and was crowned in September 2011 in Ladonia's capital, Nimis. Her role makes her the head of state of the micronation.
