2. Does this warrant its own page? I've not written it because it's a particularly good pub but beacuse of the historical significance of Bingley being a coaching stop. Also I didn't want to overload the Bingley page with pictures.

Notability?
I'm not from the West Yorkshire region (or even GB), but I'm not convinced that this inn is notable. With all due respect to its dedicated followers...who cares? And if people do care, reasons for caring should be added to the article -- I want to care too! :)

If no one says anything I'll suggest it for deletion. Spamguy 21:36, 30 November 2007 (UTC)

:I've expanded the article a bit with information that should esablish it's notability including origins in the 14th century the current building dating form the mid 17th century, its grade II listed status and the former ownership by the Knights Hospitaller. Let me know if more information is needed and I'll see if I can dig up up a book with some more information in. --Kaly99 13:53, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

:The addition works for me. Now it's fascinating instead of just another inn. Thanks. Spamguy 16:02, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

::I have to admit I didn't know how fascinating it was especially as I never knew the Knights Hospitaller had a base in the area. --Kaly99 21:01, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Notability?

[edit]

I'm not from the West Yorkshire region (or even GB), but I'm not convinced that this inn is notable. With all due respect to its dedicated followers...who cares? And if people do care, reasons for caring should be added to the article -- I want to care too! :)

If no one says anything I'll suggest it for deletion. Spamguy 21:36, 30 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've expanded the article a bit with information that should esablish it's notability including origins in the 14th century the current building dating form the mid 17th century, its grade II listed status and the former ownership by the Knights Hospitaller. Let me know if more information is needed and I'll see if I can dig up up a book with some more information in. --Kaly99 13:53, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have to admit I didn't know how fascinating it was especially as I never knew the Knights Hospitaller had a base in the area. --Kaly99 21:01, 1 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
