Price Comparison

[edit]

Pricing of consumer products varies to such an extent that it is inappropriate to discuss price comparisons in an encyclopedia article. 83.78.55.252 (talk) 05:16, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I completely agree. Prices vary from store to store. The price data in this article is clearly original research -- i.e. someone comparing prices in their personal drug store and figuring out the "per ounce" cost themselves. This wasn't some consumer group's research. I'll delete it. ask123 (talk) 19:54, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

selenium vs zinc

[edit]

The selenium type is a treatment for an active fungal infection Zinc is a treatment for overgrowth or buildup of skin= pure dandruff, and preventative of fungal infection

zinc would be best for treatment of itches , so that the patient does not scratch , which prevents further insults.

selenium sensitivity

[edit]

How many people have large mood swings due to skin contact with selsun's selenium product  ?

Is there a connection between improper handling of lead (eg washing hands with leaded petrol, or use of lead solder in jewelry, for example), and selsun blue (with selenium)? Did exposure to lead have to occur before sensitivity to selenium occurs  ?

I suggest using the zinc anti-dandruff unless an actual fungal infecton is detected or most likely .

Should distinguish between historical formula and current presentation

[edit]

If the active ingredient changes, the product may carry the same brand and name but it is a different product. Both should have an entry and make very clear which one is the historical formulation and which one is the present commercial brand formulation. Each seems to be effective treatment for its own set of conditions, not both for the same set of conditions (types of dandruff, skin fungus). The therapeutic relation of each should be clarified. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.30.56.204 (talk) 03:14, 26 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
