I noted that Betano was in Portuguese Timor and that Teddy Sheehan was mentioned in despatches. However, I think further work is required on the article. The soldiers being landed were from Timor and the only three Australian soldiers on board survived. The major loss of those who abandoned ship and who were not rescued is not mentioned. The death toll suffered by the Armidale was the highest suffered by a Bathurst class corvette. And perhaps there could be mention of the other ships involved in the operation.--[[User:Anthony Staunton|Anthony Staunton]] ([[User talk:Anthony Staunton|talk]]) 23:19, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

the article itself was very good, perhaps a bit more background on his family would be nice. also some information regarding the submarine named after him and who christened it (Teddy's sister Ivy did). also the person who created this page cold talk about the book written about the event and the hapenings after the ship had gone down. the book is called "the ship that had to die" by Frank B.
