I'm aware that in its current form this article doesn't appear to assert notability, but judging by the Russian Wikipedia article and the fact that they are the English Wikipedia's 19th most searched for non-existent article with over 2000 disappointed readers looking for them every day I should think they are well-known in Russia and therefore notable. Anyone able to read Russian should be summoned to help establish this before some trigger-happy editor goes deleting this article. — [[User:Trilobite|Trilobite]] 16:50, 26 January 2009 (UTC) |

:The ''only'' reference to a source in the Russian article is to a listing in a Russian Who's Who guide-- such listings are almost always [[WP:TRIVIAL]] mentions that do not constitute significant reliable coverage. The article has now existed for seven years and no one has found and added any other coverage of this band. If it is "trigger happy" to wait seven years, then we aren't functioning on the same sense of time-scale. Seven years seems plenty long enough. See the deletion discussion for this article. Thanks. < |

Notability
[edit]I'm aware that in its current form this article doesn't appear to assert notability, but judging by the Russian Wikipedia article and the fact that they are the English Wikipedia's 19th most searched for non-existent article with over 2000 disappointed readers looking for them every day I should think they are well-known in Russia and therefore notable. Anyone able to read Russian should be summoned to help establish this before some trigger-happy editor goes deleting this article. — Trilobite 16:50, 26 January 2009 (UTC)
- The only reference to a source in the Russian article is to a listing in a Russian Who's Who guide-- such listings are almost always WP:TRIVIAL mentions that do not constitute significant reliable coverage. The article has now existed for seven years and no one has found and added any other coverage of this band. If it is "trigger happy" to wait seven years, then we aren't functioning on the same sense of time-scale. Seven years seems plenty long enough. See the deletion discussion for this article. Thanks.
