In copyediting this page, and expanding ref links to show their sources, I noticed that the citations and other links are almost invariably to pro-Israeli sources (some of which I removed on account of unreliability and/or overt partisanship). Since the subject is highly controversial by nature, I am flagging the article as NPOV in the hope that interested editors can add some balance to it, or at least give further consideration to the issues. Sheikh Palazzi was teaching history of religion at the University of Velletri, UniTre in 1996. |

I'm italian (from Rome, where this funny story is widely known) and I can tell you that the person in this article is a fraud, he was never an imam and is not or has never been a muslim. He was also faking to be president, secretary general of many invented italian muslim associations (also real ones, but he just faked to be part of them and letters of injunction were sent to him). In fact, he is not only right wing, but he recently "converted" to hinduism, as you can see in his facebook page. |
|||
He also wrote recently: "Chiudere le moschee ed espellere gli islamici dall'Europa: unica soluzione per vincere questa guerra! Marine, sei sempre una grande, Vladimir aiutaci tu!" (close all the mosques and expell muslims from Europe: the only solution to win this war!) |
|||
His story is quite funny anyway, he managed to scam a lot of important journals which only wanted to write something pro-israeli without caring about their sources. |

Ok seriously people. Apparently many of you people don't have a clue regarding what vandalism is or not and the contents of a discussion page. Something you simply do not agree with is clearly NOT vandalism. If something is added to the article without citation, it may be discussed in a talk page like this one. For a better knowledge and better use as editors of Wikipedia, please see the 5 Pillars, Wikipedia:Vandalism, and Wikipedia:Talk page. Thanks. This article must adhere to the biographies of living persons (BLP) policy, even if it is not a biography, because it contains material about living persons. Contentious material about living persons that is unsourced or poorly sourced must be removed immediately from the article and its talk page, especially if potentially libellous. If such material is repeatedly inserted, or if you have other concerns, please report the issue to this noticeboard.If you are a subject of this article, or acting on behalf of one, and you need help, please see this help page. |

Perceived lack of balance
