This appears to be malicious vandalism. The first clue is listing him as Joe Brandt's older brother. Further superficial research (the wikipedia page on Skouras, his obituaries, etc.) show no connection to Columbia in this or any other era; Skouras got his start running theaters, then moved to 20th Century before it merged with Fox. I've excised all references to him; if I'm wrong, then Cohn have mercy on my soul. RootlessIrishman (talk) 05:02, 19 March 2023 (UTC)

Hello, giant company and all the great crew who work for you, I would like to submit a request to you to give me an opportunity to act. I have loved cinema since my childhood, especially American cinema, which was and still is a part of my personality and will remain, knowing that I am a young man from Algeria. I am 26 years old and tall. I am tall and white in complexion. I have a talent for imitating voices and movie and cartoon characters. Thank God I have physical fitness, and perhaps other things that I need to train to master. I hope your esteemed honor will take my message into consideration. Thank you 41.98.136.92 (talk) 16:56, 19 March 2024 (UTC)

1980's section grammer

[edit]

From the text about the 1980's:

"His criticism of American film production, in addition to the fact that the films he greenlit were mostly flops, left Coke and Hollywood discerned[clarification needed] that Puttnam was ousted from the position after only one year."

This is pretty ropey English (also "Coke" instead of "Coca-Cola"?), should probably be re-written something like:

"His criticism of American film production, in addition to the fact that many of the films he greenlit were box-office flops led to Puttnam's ousting from his position after only one year."
