Most of the population (as of 2000[update]) speaks German (96.6%), with Serbo-Croatian being second most common ( 0.7%) and Dutch being third ( 0.5%).[4] As of 2007[update] the gender distribution of the population was 50.9% male and 49.1% female.[7]
