==Synopsis== |

spoiler |
Now that Piper and Leo are married, Prue, Phoebe and Piper are faced with the possibility of being separated as the newlyweds plan to move out on their own, and the episode flashes back to an earlier time before the sisters knew they were the three most powerful witches the world has ever known. In between flashback, a new Warlock tries to make the Charmed Ones kill all nine of his lives in order to become immortal, and thus unstoppable. |
==Book of Shadows== |
===Enemies=== |
*Familiar Warlock: When a witch's Familiar decides to become a Warlock, it mixes a series of potions together in order to give it human form. The Familiar's witch then is magically sacrificed once the transformation is made, causing whatever powers the witch possessed to be transferred in the process. Once this is done, the new Warlock must then destroy all nine of its previous lives in order to gain a 10th life of immortality. This must be done before midnight of the next New Moon. |
===Spells=== |
*To Perform a Seance: To perform this ritual you will need six candles white and purple in color and a white cloth. In addition, you will need to sweeten the air by burning Cinnamon, Frankincense, and Sandalwood. As the fire burns, concentrate on contacting the Spirit and Chant the Spell that follows. If you know the mortal name of the deceased, adjust the words accordingly. Beloved unknown spirit, we seek your guidance. We ask that you commune with us and move among us. |
*To Vanquish a Familiar Warlock: Must be cast at the very moment the warlock physically feels his ninth death. Nine times this evil's cheated death, felt no pain and kept his breath. This warlock standing in our midst, let him now feel what he has missed. |
==Trivia== |
*This episode's title is the first to play on the words of the television series Bewitched, the second (and final) being Season Eight's Rewitched. |
*We discover that Grams was going to permanently remove the Charmed Ones' powers as opposed to just bind them, but was unsuccessful as she died before that could happen. |
*The Charmed Ones know that they must not use their powers in public, yet they do this several times in this episode and many other episodes too. |
*We see that Leo and Piper bumped into one another briefly in one of the flashbacks before they actually met. |
*Piper used to be a bank teller before becoming a chef at Quake. |
*Piper recalls the time she and Prue shared a high-end apartment in North Beach, California until Grams became sick and was hospitalized in 1997. It was previously mentioned in the series pilot, although the location was not revealed until this episode. |
*Grams reveals that Piper's favorite desert is Double Chocolate Decadence Cake. |
*The Charmed Ones make a reference to Kit the Cat (their Familiar) possibly becoming human. This eventually happens in the episode Cat House in which Kit becomes Katrina, a good being who cares for fellow Familiars until they are ready to be assigned to a witch of their own. However, in this episode, Kit is referred to as male and in Cat House, Kit becomes a woman. |
*Although the episode consists of several flashbacks, every past scene is entirely new with little stock footage actually seen. |
*Piper kills the familiar turned warlock 2 times, Prue 3 times, Phoebe 3 times, for the ninth death one throws sharp object, other potion, they cast spell so 1 point for the Charmed Ones. |
*Ariel tells the girls not to lose each other - something which they fail to do when Prue is killed only 5 episodes later. |
