Penny asks Leonard to receive some furniture that will be delivered to her apartment in case she is not at home, to which he eagerly agrees. As it turns out the piece of furniture is quite large and heavy giving Leonard and Sheldon quite a struggle to bring it up all the stairs. |

They however succeed to do so but at the sight of Penny's apartment Sheldon is deeply disturbed by how messy and disorganized it is. Having a compulsive need for an ordered and sorted environment Sheldon immediately tries to tidy up the place but is interrupted early when Penny arrives at home. Later that night Sheldon is unable to ignore the urge to clean up Penny's apartment, so he takes the spare key she gave Leonard and sneaked into her apartment to tidy it up. |

Mean while Leonard awakes and finds their apartment door open while Sheldon is reorganizing Penny's apartment. |

Arguing with Sheldon, while trying not to wake up Penny, Leonard fails to convince Sheldon about the ethical implications of sneaking into a neighbor's apartment. Because Sheldon is insisting to stay until everything is sufficently reorganised, Leonard reluctantly helps him in order to finish up faster. |

The next morning Penny, after reading a note from Sheldon pointing out how to better keep her home tidy, is outraged about the whole situation. After furiously demanding her spare key back she storms away, never to speak to any of the two again. |

After an one sided discussion with Rajesh, Penny decided to give both of them a second chance.Later on Leonard goes to apologize, prompting Penny to hug him and say 'we're okay'. |

The episodes finishes with Leonard, Sheldon, Rajesh and Howard attempting to assemble Penny's new "cheap swedish media center" only to agree upon that the construction is highly inefficient and needs improvements to which the four go to get the needed tools while Penny assembles thepice of furniture herself. |
