Groveland Township is a civil township of Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 5,912 at the 2020 census.[3] Groveland Township was established in 1835.[4]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 36.04 square miles (93.34 km2), of which 35.26 square miles (91.32 km2) is land and 0.78 square miles (2.02 km2) (2.16%) is water.

The racial makeup of the township was 96.7% White, 0.8% African American, 0.3% Native American, 0.5% Asian, 0.5% from other races, and 1.2% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.7% of the population.
