Fenton, along with [[Mickey Finn (musician)|Mickey Finn]] helped reform T.Rex in 1997 going by the name of [[Mickey Finn's T-Rex]]. Even after the death of Finn in 2003, he continued to play drums for the band which still performs as T. Rex (A Celebration of Marc and Mickey) today.

Paul Fenton grew up on Crackenedge Lane in Dewsbury in the Industrial West Riding of Yorkshire. From 1963 until 1965 he played drums in a local 4 piece band, Tony Jay and the Jesters,they became popular around the Church Hall and Town Hall dance circuit in the local area, playing the "Merseybeat Style" R&B music popular at that style.

Paul Fenton (born 4 July 1946 in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, England) is an English drummer, best known for his work with T. Rex. After leaving Christie,[1] he started playing drums for T. Rex in 1973, after being recommended to Marc Bolan by his producer Tony Visconti.

Fenton also played in Carmen, a progressive rock band with a flamenco focus.[2] The band released three albums between 1973 and 1975.

Fenton along with Mickey Finn, formed a T. Rex tribute band in 1997, named Mickey Finn's T-Rex.
