Burleigh Brewing is Queensland’s leading independent brewer and the Gold Coast’s premier craft brewery. With a healthy respect for tradition, yet a thirst for innovation, Burleigh Brewing brews beer the way beer is meant to be brewed – real beer.


In 2015, they outgrew the original location and moved down the road to an expanded brewery and new tap house.
Burleigh Brewing is built on Balance, Character and Soul. Existing simply to create great, honest, world-class local beer and to make a difference while doing it.

Peta and Brennan Fielding started Burleigh Brewing in 2006. After ten years of hard work and impressive growth, they have opened the doors to a brand new brewery and tap house - a very exciting next chapter for Burleigh Brewing.

Burleigh Brewing is an active participant in the Gold Coast community and was recognised as the 2013 Telstra Queensland Business of the Year and the 2014 Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards Supreme Winner.

The Burleigh Brewing Company is a brewery and taphouse located in Burleigh Heads, Queensland, Australia.

History

Back from a brewing job in Hawaii, and bothered by the lack of balance, character or soul in Queensland’s beer landscape, Peta and Brennan Fielding started brewing their own beer.[2] Burleigh Brewing was born on 1 July 2006 and set about pioneering the craft beer movement on the Gold Coast.

In 2012, the HEF won the Gold Medal for 'South German-Style Hefeweizen/Hefeweissbier' at the Brewer's Association World Beer Cup.[3][4][5]

In 2013, the Burleigh Brewing Company was named as the 2013 Telstra Queensland Business of the Year.[6] In 2014 the company was named the 2014 Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards Supreme Winner.
