The Elwood Middle School takes students from 6th-8th grade. It recognizes the special learning requirements of adolescent students by offering an educationally balanced program which meets academic, social, and emotional needs. There are students from Huntington, East Northport, and Greenlawn. It was named a School of Excellence award for the 2001 - 2002 school year.
