Full Name

If it is of any consequence, S20E3, "Brian the Dog" is used from Quag to Brian. Brian's response was, "Why are you using my full name?" Breed??

I thought that Brian was a beagle, or has that been confirmed to be incorrect? There is no citation when it says he has a white Labrador, so I don’t necessarily believe that to be true. Children

In season 13 episode 13 (at least on disney plus, it's listed as 12 in the fandom) stewie gives birth to 7 of brians biological children (brian counts them at 16:00). Some of them are given names: jack, rose, finn. So these should be listed as his children as well as dylan. ElYanuki (talk) 20:09, 11 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

-I'm not so sure that the "Brian Griffin" voice is actually MacFarlane's natural speaking voice - although it is indeed very close (certainly a lot closer to his actual speaking voice than Peter, Stewie, Quagmire, etc.), I think he uses a slightly deeper register of his actual speaking voice for Brian Griffin. Watch any of MacFarlane's interviews - he sounds similar, but not exactly identical to, Brian Griffin.

-:I'm sorry, we need to change him to past tense.  When a human being dies, we change to past tense immediately, and sometimes revert someone doing that because no one believes it at first in sudden cases (see [[Michael Jackson]] for instance).  We can still watch music videos, listen to music, etc.  However, he's still dead.  The comment references that Brian "still exists".  This is the same thing.  We (though not me because I don't) can watch old episodes of Family Guy.  But Brian is no longer a character on the show.  He's dead.  He won't be reappearing unless there is some kind of weird time travel later in the season, and Brian then kills Vinnie.  Therefore, "was" is necessary. -After some thought, I've come to agree with the use of "is" in the header.  Saying "Brian Griffin was a fictional dog" or anything else stating him as a fictional character would be effectively be suggesting that he's now a real dog, or something like that.  However, it could be implied even in the lead that he WAS the Griffin's dog as, with the introduction of Vinnie, Brian is no longer the Griffin's dog.  That and the fact that he's - er - dead. -I noticed a couple of small errors in the section detailing the Brian/Quagmire relationship, specifically Quagmire's skewering of Brian. As is : In the episode "Jerome Is the New Black", Brian learns that, despite their apparent friendship seen in episodes up to that point, Quagmire actually hates him. Brian tries to befriend Quagmire and asks why he hates him so much. Quagmire responds: "You are the worst person I know. You constantly hit on your best friend's wife, the man pays for your food and rescued you from certain death and this is how you repay him? And to add insult to injury, you defecate all over his yard. And you're such a sponge. You pay for nothing, you always say 'Oh, I'll get you later', but later never comes. And what really bothers me, is you pretend you're this deep guy who loves women for their souls, when all you do is date bimbos. Yeah, I date women for their bodies, but at least I'm honest about it. I don't buy them a copy of Catcher in the Rye and then lecture them with some seventh-grade interruption of how Holden Caulfield is some profound intellectual. He wasn't! He was a spoiled brat! And that's why you like him so much, he's you! God, you're pretentious! And you delude yourself by thinking you're some great writer even though you're terrible. You know, I should had known Cheryl Tiegs didn't write me that note. She would have known there's no 'a' in the word 'definite'.
