Trim needed

I just tagged the article for content removal because significant portions are about the history of Alabama and Mobile as a whole, rather than the Alabama Creoles in particular. The {{off-topic}} was about the bloated History section containing a lot of general content on the city without focus on Alabama Creole people, the actual subject of this article. For example:

Mobile gained the nickname the "Athens of the South" as it became rich and prospered. European immigrants from continental Europe as well as those who had already established themselves in Northern cities flocked to Mobile. By 1860, Mobile boasted a population of 30,000.

SavvyJack's removal of the Mobile flag

I restored the Mobile flag; user Savvyjack removed the Mobile flag, claiming that simply by its creation in 1961, it doesn't represent Mobile Alabama's ethnicity. This Tricolor was created by Mobilian Lambert C. Mims in 1961, to represent Mobile's multicultural past (referring to Mobile's unique culture and celebrations like Mardi Gras), all the way up to present day. While I agree that when the flag of Mobile was created is irrelevant, it's not an image that represents the subject of this article.
