::Your perspective about this article's notability is shortsighted. Christopher and the Souls were the subject of an article in ''the Monitor'', a reputable news publication. They were also the subject of an article in ''Garage Hangover'', which is a highly respected website run by Chris Bishop (who wrote piece on the Souls), is an eminently qualified writer on the topic of Garage Rock who Wikipedia editors that cover this topic have great respect--by the way, he was chosen to write the liner notes for the latest installments in the ''Back From the Grave'' compilation series--a task which involved in-depth researching for approximately thirty bands. The Souls' work has been included on several compilations: *''Anti-Flirts Inc: The McAllen, Texas Teen Scene 1965-1967'', *''Texas Punk, Vol. 5'', and *''Destination Frantic, Vol. 3''. The review of the ''Texas Punk'' album did indeed appear in ''AllMusic'' article , and though you disparaged it, it was written by Richie Unterberger, who has written several books and is a respected writer. Christopher and the Souls also factored highly in the documentary, ''Texas Garage Rock'', done by ''Texas Monthly'' in 2010. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNEvXax6KHA]. So I deem the article to be notable, and I'm confident others would agree. [[User:Garagepunk66|Garagepunk66]] ([[User talk:Garagepunk66|talk]]) 22:44, 8 July 2016 (UTC)

Your perspective about this article's notability is shortsighted. Christopher and the Souls were the subject of an article in the Monitor, a reputable news publication. They were also the subject of an article in Garage Hangover, which is a highly respected website run by Chris Bishop (who wrote piece on the Souls), is an eminently qualified writer on the topic of Garage Rock who Wikipedia editors that cover this topic have great respect--by the way, he was chosen to write the liner notes for the latest installments in the Back From the Grave compilation series--a task which involved in-depth researching for approximately thirty bands. The Souls' work has been included on several compilations: *Anti-Flirts Inc: The McAllen, Texas Teen Scene 1965-1967, *Texas Punk, Vol. 5, and *Destination Frantic, Vol. 3. The review of the Texas Punk album did indeed appear in AllMusic article , and though you disparaged it, it was written by Richie Unterberger, who has written several books and is a respected writer. Christopher and the Souls also factored highly in the documentary, Texas Garage Rock, done by Texas Monthly in 2010. [5]. So I deem the article to be notable, and I'm confident others would agree.
