Kadhi Chawal is a popular meal that finds its origins in India. There are several variations of this food that can be found in states such as Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat. Kadhi chawal ("curd curry with rice") is a popular dish originating from India. Kadhi is prepared by mixing Curd, Besan (Chickpea Flour) and different spices. It is served with boiled rice[1] and is very popular in Northern and Western states of India. It usually has a thick consistency and contains fritters (Pakora).
