While the term "psychoactive" is technically objectively accurate, the fact that caffiene is psychoactive is also commonly understood. Ascribing the "psychoactive" label as is commony understood communicates that the drink has significantly debilitating events on one's cogntitive state adn would be more suited towards a THC- or cocaine-infused cocktail, unlike a common caffeinated drink that are—in most countries—allowed of purchase by minors.

Mixed drinks come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, and they may be either alcoholic or non-alcoholic.
