This village is famous for the temple of Sri Bhadrakali Sametha Veerabhadra Swamy. Many devotees from Hyderabad and different parts of the Medak district visit this temple in large numbers. Mostly Lingayats, (veerashaiva)(Balija and jangamas) and Arya Vysyas visit this temple. Buses are available from [[Secunderabad]], [[Patancheru]], [[ Balanagar]] etc. to this temple.
