The article is interesting and well-written. These are the only comments I have and the changes I have made:

In the introduction, I would add some infobox about the protocol, similar to other Wikipedia articles about other protocols.
I've added some wikilinks to clarify the topic better.
I've repeated some references in the same paragraph to clarify things.
The requirements section can increase readability with a bullet list.

Hi Gianaccordi,

Thank you for your comments and changes. Currently, DPV is more of an abstract concept than a real, established protocol with an inventor, creation date, and other similar information that would go in an info box.
