Founded in 2013, the university currently has 10 schools and offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Engineering, Basic Sciences, Business Management & Entrepreneurship, Humanities & Social Sciences, Fashion & Design, Communication, Law, Architecture & Planning, Hospitality, Education & Medical & Allied Sciences. It also offers PhD programs in all disciplines. Set on 60 acres, GD Goenka Education City has the [[Aravalli Range|Aravalli hills]] as its backdrop; with the high-tech Millennium City-Gurugram and the [[National Capital Region (India)|National Capital Region]] within close range. Facilities include laboratories, dedicated video-conferencing facilities, virtual learning facilities, fully equipped conference rooms, library, Computer Labs, Training Restaurant for students, & Wi-Fi enabled campus.

GD Goenka University has six hostels that can house approximately 800 students. The dining hall can cater to about 1,000 people at once. Areas for extra-curricular activities at GD Goenka Group include a number of sports facilities with grounds, grass and concrete courts and net area for practice. The school has a half Olympic size swimming pool and two gymnasiums. The University campus is under CCTV surveillance, with 700 plus cameras installed all over the campus. There are 20 low floor AC buses, which ply to Delhi NCR. GD Goenka has its own fire engine and an ambulance is also available round the clock. In addition to doctor-on-call facility, there is a resident doctor on campus as well, along with two nurses and nursing attendants on campus.

== Admission ==
Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs at GD Goenka University are open during the months of March – July every year. Online / offline applications are invited which are reviewed for eligibility, academic performance, and other evidence of the candidate's suitability to his/her preferred programme. If eligible, candidates have to appear for the Goenka Aptitude Test for Admission (GATA) followed by an interview. For admissions to Architecture and Planning Programs, NATA score is required. For Admission to Fashion and Design Programmes Design Aptitude Test (DAT) is conducted. For admission to PhD Program, a separate admission test is conducted which comprises written exam and presentation to the Doctoral Research Committee.
