Cockfight is also very famous in this village as it conducts on the occasion of Sankranthi for 3 consecutive days.

There is temple called Kesavaswamy which is located in this village as it very famous in whole West Godavari District. Behind the Kesavaswamy Idol still we can find the marks of war attack by Mohd. Ghore who was the hater of Hindu temples and he attached many temples at that region and destroyed many temples.

The village is also famous for commercial activities. One of the oldest store is running with many appraisals over the past years gaining customer satisfaction and trust.'pichaai gari battala shop' famous for its pattu sarees and blankets.
