The Challenge Tour is Europe's official developmental [[professional golf tours|tour]] and is organised by the [[PGA European Tour]]. The rankings were titled as the Road to Oman and were based on prize money won during the season, calculated in Euros.[4][5] The top 15 players on the rankings earned status to play on the 2016 European Tour.[6]
