The local square boasts a restaurant and Sports bar that is open very till late. while a pharmacy and Bread shop are minutes from the square.
A short walk brings you to a small fishing lake, while a larger lake which sits on the outskirts of the village and is also good for fishing.
Each May sees a village Fate with a fair, stalls and a parade through the village by the May queen.
Each Friday a pizza van visits the village providing an accompaniment to the local beers from the Sports Bar.
