Maybe I'm being the PC police, or maybe not, but can someone explain why the racial backgrounds of Herb Jefferson and Grace Park are relevant enough to be mentioned here? I can't shake the thought that if the actor playing the character was European-American we wouldn't think to mention it. And since Boomer exists in a fictional universe whose inhabitants have never heard of Africa or Korea, these racial distinctions have no relevance to the character itself. |

The problem with deleting it is that there's another disambiguation page, Boomer, with one link to this page; if we delete this we need to create another entry on that page, so that there's one for each version of the BSG character. Polyamorph Yeah, wasn't sure how best to handle it. Totally good with a redirect to the general disambig page. Only found this through the double redirect page. SamStrongTalks (talk) 13:13, 24 June 2021 (UTC) |

:SamStrongTalks I think your way is the best, since we have (Battlestar Galactica) disambiguator in the title it should be a disambiguation page about relevant Battlestar Galactica terms. We can add a see also to the general disambig page though, which I'll do now. - It's intended as a disambiguation page, since there are two versions of the Boomer character: Lieutenant Boomer and Sharon Valerii. But it does have a little too much information for a disambiguation page; I guess it could be trimmed. The problem with deleting it is that there's another disambiguation page, Boomer, with one link to this page; if we delete this we need to create another entry on that page, so that there's one for each version of the BSG character. Disambig vs redirect
