The „Max Steiner Film Music Achievement Award“ is a symbol of recognition by the City of Music, [[Vienna]], for extraordinary achievements in the [[film music]] genre. The award commemorates the Viennese film music pioneer [[Max Steiner]], who went to [[Hollywood]] in the 1920s.
