The Priscillas were founded in 2003 as an raucous all girl garage band in Holloway, north London.

Guri Go-Go (guitar and backing vocals), Jenny Drag (Vocals), Kate Kannibal (Bass and backing vocals) and Mavis Minx (Drums and backing vocals.

The quartet released two fantastic 7” singles ‘Gonna Rip Up Your Photograph’ (Damgood 243) and ‘All My Friends Are Zombies! (Damgood 251) and a great mini album of the two singles plus one unreleased track and the two great videos on one hot little cd called ‘Aloha From Holloway’ (Damgood 253 CD) on Damaged Goods Records in 2004.


Their [[Single (music)|singles]] have had radio play on [[BBC Radio 1|Radio 1]], [[BBC 6Music]], [[Xfm]], and [[WFMU]]; the band has also played in session for [[Marc Riley]] on BBC 6Music, have been interviewed on [[Phill Jupitus]]'s 6Music's breakfast show twice, and played sessions for [[Resonance FM]], as well as [[WFMU]] in [[New York City|New York]]. The band's videos have been playlisted at [[Topshop]] branches across Europe, and "Gonna Rip Up Your Photograph" was voted in the shop's top 40 videos of the year.
Mavis Minx left the band shortly after and was replaced by Hege Hotpants on drums.
They released the single "Superhero" on Dirty Water Records in August 2007, released the album "10,000 Volts" on their own label Nag's Head Records in February 2009.

The Priscillas are a British all female, power-pop punk/glam/garage punk[1] band from Holloway, north London.

History

The Priscillas formed in November 2003 with Jenny Drag (vocals), Guri Go-Go (guitar), Kate Kannibal (bass) and Mavis Minx (drums).[2]

The band released two singles on Damaged Goods, "Gonna Rip Up Your Photograph", and "All My Friends Are Zombies", along with an EP "Aloha From Holloway" in 2004.[3] They released the single "Superhero" on Dirty Water Records in August 2007,[4] and an album 10,000 Volts on their own label Nag's Head Records in February 2009.[5]
