Saughton (/ˈsɔːxtən/) is a suburb of the west of Edinburgh, Scotland, bordering Broomhouse, Stenhouse, Longstone and Carrick Knowe. In Lowland Scots, a "sauch" is a willow.[1] The Water of Leith flows by here.
