::{{Done}} Assessed as C class and retained High importance rating. The article is well-sourced and easily earns a C grade. However, several statements are missing nearby inline citations still, and the following areas may need some attention: |
|||
::*Additional coverage of the ride before construction began |
|||
::*Mention Travel Channel's coverage of the ride before and during its grand opening |
|||
::*Add a reception section |

::Unfortunately, the incident will always consume a vast portion of the article. If it continues to grow, a fork/split into a separate article may be needed. --[[User:GoneIn60|GoneIn60]] ([[User talk:GoneIn60|talk]]) 02:46, 4 April 2018 (UTC) |

Welcome to the assessment department of WikiProject Amusement Parks! This department focuses on assessing the quality of Wikipedia's amusement park articles and their relative importance to the project. While much of the work is performed in conjunction with the WP:1.0 program, article assessment ratings are used within the project itself to aid in the recognition of excellent contributions and in the identification of topics that need further improvements. How it works[edit]The ratings are done in a distributed fashion through parameters in the {{WikiProject Amusement Parks}} project banner. The class= parameter is the assessed quality rating of the article, and the importance= parameter grades the article's relevance to this project. Adding this template banner on the article's talk page will list the article at Category:Amusement park articles and place it in the appropriate sub-categories of Category:Amusement park articles by quality and Category:Amusement park articles by importance. This serves as the foundation for an automatically generated work list. Multiple parameters exist for the template that allow extensive classification within the project's scope. When you create or find a new page within the scope of WikiProject Amusement Parks please add any of the following to the top of its talk page:{{WikiProject Amusement Parks |class= |importance= }}
{{WikiProject Amusement Parks |class= |importance= |coaster= |coaster-importance= |cedar= |cedar-importance= |disney= |disney-importance= |herschend= |herschend-importance= |hersheypark= |hersheypark-importance= |merlin= |merlin-importance= |sixflags= |sixflags-importance= |uk= |uk-importance= |universal= |universal-importance= |seaworld= |seaworld-importance= |unref= |Imageneeded= |Imagedetails= |listas= }}

Frequently asked questions[edit]
If you have any other questions not listed here, please feel free to ask them on the project Assessment talk page. Quality assessments[edit]An article's quality assessment is generated from the class parameter in the {{WikiProject Banner Shell}}. Articles that have the {{WikiProject Amusement Parks}} project banner on their talk page will be added to the appropriate categories by quality. The following values may be used for the class parameter to describe the quality of the article (see Wikipedia:Content assessment for assessment criteria):
For non-standard grades and non-mainspace content, the following values may be used for the class parameter: Grading scheme[edit]
Importance scale[edit]The importance scale for this WikiProject's Task Forces can be found on each Task Force page. They should be modeled after Wikipedia's outline for priority assessments and the suggested criteria at {{Importance scheme}}. The following is a guide for assigning importance within WikiProject Amusement Parks. The process is somewhat subjective. Click the importance grade in the left column to view articles within this WikiProject that have that designation.
