Williams was featured in [[Dinesh D'Souza]]'s 2012 film biography of Obama, ''[[2016: Obama's America]]'' during a segment in which Williams appeared on [[CNN]]'s ''[[Anderson Cooper 360]]''.
On December 23, 2013 Williams, after completing paralegal training, and invoking a long-held but unused status as an ordained minister in the Universal Life Church, launched "MLW Court Solutions." A firm dedicated to providing affordable legal assistance to small claims, traffic and unlawful detainer clients, and wedding officiant services for "non-denominational, secular, pagan and same-sex" couples. Williams posted to his Facebook Page that he believes that his new venture: ..."is a perfect union of my conservative, Tea Party, Constitutional Principles, compassion and refusal to accept imperial government control over individuals and our Creator Endowed Human Rights. I hope to contribute whatever I can for the next Shot Heard Around the World.... put that on my tombstone and I'll be a happy stiff." According to his Facebook Page, his first paying client signed on "barely an hour" follow his "intentional, holiday, soft-launch".
