The district has two elementary buildings, occupied in April 1982. Central Elementary, which serves approximately 410 students in grades K-6, is located in Alleman. West Elementary, serving approximately 440 students in grades OK (Optional Kindergarten) through 5th. The [[Junior High|Junior]]/[[Senior High]] building in Alleman serves approximately 575 students in grades 7-12. Junior high and Senior high classes share rooms and teachers in one building. |

North Polk has an excellent Baseball program. The current head coach is Dave Middleton .They went to the state championship three years in a row placing second in 2012 and 2013, with a first place finish in 2014 after a shutout thrown by senior Cole Jackson against Dyersville Beckman. In addition to the shutout, Jackson tossed a No-Hitter in the first round of the tournament against Roland Story. |

The North Polk Community School District is a rural public school district headquartered in Alleman, Iowa.[3]
Almost all of the district is in Polk County, with small sections in Boone and Story counties. It includes the municipalities of Alleman, Ankeny, Elkhart, and Sheldahl as well as almost all of Polk City.[4] It also includes the surrounding rural area. Alleman is located approximately halfway (five miles north of Ankeny) between Des Moines and Ames.
