State's #th congressional district lies in the northwest corner of the state. It is the second smallest district in the state, and it comprises mostly Sample City, State. It was created after the 1870 census. Until the 1930 census, the district was in the center of the state. It is represented by incumbent Republican Frank F. Fictitious who has represented the district since 1995.
District maps
The National Atlas has published congressional district maps for each state, and the website specifically says that it "has no plans to create a new set of maps similar to [the maps of the individual districts] for the current session of Congress." So what's there is much better than the obsolete maps on all the WP pages, and nothing better is going to come. It is sorely needed for someone to add these maps so that they can be incorporated into our articles about congressional districts.

Notes on the example

[edit]
1. ^ Use "Member" instead of "Representative."
2. ^ "Residence" is the place the Member calls "home" inside (or in rare cases, outside) the district.
3. ^ Terms begin on date of special election and qualification, not oath.
4. ^ Keep minimum related only to entering or leaving office. Nothing extra like "Speaker of the House." May include "retiring to run for XX office," but don't include if successful if that's not relevant to why they left office.
5. ^ Do not split member's years or Congresses for redistricting.
6. ^ Image should be as contemporary to the relevant time as possible. If member served non-consecutive terms, then use different contemporary images if possible.
7. ^ Only nowrap the Years column.
8. ^ Reason/method of death unnecessary in this list, even if otherwise newsworthy (e.g., suicide, murder, etc.)
9. ^ Use "incumbent" for existing Congress.
