In 1965, Ralph L. "Larry" Roberts I and Ronald Campbell Jr. (1942-2020) purchased a single truck they used to haul furniture. This is when it was called R+L trucking, but Ronald Campbell Jr. left due to a worry that he wouldn’t be able to see his family.
