The firm was also involved in the founding of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.[1] Other firm clients included Woody Allen, Jack Lemmon, Gary Oldman, and the Beatles.[2] By 2006, the firm had "the largest entertainment law practice in the world" and Vault.com (now Infobase) reported, "When it comes to entertainment law, few firms match Loeb & Loeb in experience or expertise."[3] More recently, the firm has represented Netflix and Paramount Pictures in high-stakes copyright litigation.[4] As of 2015, "Loeb & Loeb’s entertainment client base still includes talent as well as movie and television producers, film funds, record companies, music publishers, private equity funds, and advertising agencies.
