İslam Əzim oğlu Abbasov (born 24 March 1996) is an Azerbaijani Greco-Roman wrestler.[1] In March 2021, he qualified at the European Qualification Tournament to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.[2][3][4] In June 2021, he won one of the bronze medals in his event at the 2021 Wladyslaw Pytlasinski Cup held in Warsaw, Poland.[5][6]

In 2022, he won the gold medal in his event at the Vehbi Emre & Hamit Kaplan Tournament held in Istanbul, Turkey.[7] He won one of the bronze medals in the 87 kg event at the European Wrestling Championships held in Budapest, Hungary.[8]

He competed at the 2024 European Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament in Baku, Azerbaijan hoping to qualify for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.[9] He was eliminated in his first match and he did not qualify for the Olympics.[9]
