Each year after his 1-catch rookie campaign, he improved on his stats from the previous season through 2009. In 2007, he caught 12 passes on 17 targets for 131 yards and one touchdown.[4] In 2008, he caught 19 of 29 targets for 241 yards and two touchdowns, then went 38 of 53 for 370 yards with no scores in 2009.[5]

He was featured on Late Night with Conan O'Brien when he performed the host's original string dance after catching a touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals on October 26, 2008.

Anderson was released by the Texans on July 30, 2011.
