There is a future Cell Phone Tower to be built in Mill Creek, by Cellco Partnership (A.K.A. Verizon Wireless). It will provide Wireless internet, and is said to be built in 2010. This will greatly help the rural people of Mill Creek and the people who surround the Mill Creek Town.

Mill Creek is a village in Union County, Illinois, United States. The population was 59 at the 2020 census.

Geography

The community is located on the west side of the Mill Creek floodplain just north of the Union-Alexander county line. Illinois Route 127 passes through the town connecting to Jonesboro approximately seven miles to the north and Cairo about 24 miles to the south.[3]

According to the 2010 census, Mill Creek has a total area of 0.386 square miles (1.00 km2), of which 0.38 square miles (0.98 km2) (or 98.45%) is land and 0.006 square miles (0.02 km2) (or 1.55%) is water.[4]
