People gather weekly at the village market known as Labipur Hatiya. People buy and sell goods from villagers and sellers. The majority of Tharu people are involved in farming. Agriculture is the main source of income for Tharu villagers.

Agriculture has been practiced by Tharu villagers from the era of ancestors which has been passed from generation to generation. Agriculture is the main economic motivator behind the formation of this Tharu village.

Labipur is rich in terms of culture and Religion. Devoted and committed, there are several festivals that are celebrated by Tharu people which make this village more bright and colorful.

Labipur (a village) (Nepali: लबिपुर) is a Tharu village located in the Itahari sub-metropolitan city of Sunsari District in the Koshi Zone of south-eastern Nepal.[1]
