Jezebelle is a New God from [[Apokolips]] and a former student of [[Granny Goodness]]. However, she expresses a reluctance to kill, and thus defects to [[New Genesis]] during a battle with them.
She is one of the more obscure New Gods and was not created by [[Jack Kirby]]. A [[mutant (fictional)|mutant]] born on [[Apokolips]], her history is comparatively minimal - about a dozen appearances, virtually all of them between 1977 and 1978 and only in pre-Crisis continuity. It has been revealed that she was once one of [[Granny Goodness]]' students, but not if she was a [[Female Furies|Female Fury]]. The beautiful blue-skinned, yellow-eyed and crimson-haired Jezebelle was always depicted as being reluctant to kill, so when she was captured during a battle with [[New Genesis]], she defected.


''New Gods vol. 3 #1'' (written by [[Mark Evanier]]) featured her death caused by one of Necromina's "morrow blocks", but she was later seen alongside other supposedly dead New Gods [[Forager (comics)|Forager]] and [[Highfather]] in the [[Seven Soldiers]]: [[Mister Miracle (Shilo Norman)|Mister Miracle]] limited series of 2006.

Jezebelle is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Gerry Conway and Don Newton, the character first appeared in New Gods #12 (July 1977).[1] She is the second female character in the series, after Big Barda.[2]

In New Gods vol. 3 #1 (February 1989), Jezebelle is killed by Necromina. However, she appears alive in Seven Soldiers (2006).
