Cyclone occurrence in the Bay of Bengal is relatively high in November but generally, the cyclones turn towards Bangladesh.

==Meteorological History==

A low-pressure area formed over the Bay of Bengal on 14 November 2023. The system gradually intensified and on 15 November the [[India Meteorological Department]] (IMD) designated it as a low pressure. The next day, the low pressure intensified into a deep depression.
