The Suzuki Satria is a motorcycle made by Suzuki, first released as two-stroke bike in Indonesia in 1998. Many subsequent models have been launched since then. Major change was the release of four-stroke sport bike Satria F.

History
The bike is notorious for its high fuel consumption, sudden braking and short interval between oil changes. However, the bike's acceleration and agility is far surpassing other common 4-stroke motorcycles in the country.
The first type was released in 1997, with the second and third following in 2002 and 2005. The third model is sold as the Belang 150 in Malaysia, and Raider 150 in the Philippines. The fourth model was introduced in 2016, with the engine now fuel-injected, and shared with the GSX-R150, albeit with different gear ratios in the transmission, different injectors and different tuning in the ECM.

The name "Satria" means "knight" in Indonesian.
The first type was released in 1998, with the second and third following in 2002 and 2004. the 4-stroke type was released in 2004 and new models are being released every year. The 2-stroke model (Satria 120 - 120 cc) stopped being sold in 2006. Its successor released in 2004 is named F-150 (known, elsewhere, as the Suzuki Raider 150).

The Suzuki Raider is an underbone motorcycle manufactured by Suzuki, first released as a 2-stroke only in Indonesia in 1997. Many subsequent models have been launched since then. Major change was the release of the 4-stroke Satria F in 2005, and fuel-injected Satria FI in 2016.

History

[edit]

The first type was released in 1997, with the second and third following in 2002 and 2005. The third model is sold as the Belang 150 in Malaysia, and Raider 150 in the Philippines. The fourth model was introduced in 2016, with the engine now fuel-injected, and shared with the GSX-R150, albeit with different gear ratios in the transmission, different injectors and different tuning in the ECM.[1][2]

The name "Satria" means "knight" in Indonesian.
