She received recognition after portraying the titular role in the romantic drama Khaani for which she received a nomination at the Lux Style Awards. Javed gained praise for her social-based dramas Ruswai and Dunk and the former earned her the PISA Award for Best Actress Critics.

Personal life
[edit]Sana Javed was born on 25 March 1993 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Pakistani parents.[15][16][7] She paternally hails from Hyderabad Deccan with also some Kashmiri origin.[17][18]
After completing school and college at the Pakistan International School in Jeddah, she moved to Lahore with her family and later graduated from the University of Karachi.[2][6]
In October 2020, she married singer Umair Jaswal in a private Nikah ceremony at her home in Karachi.[19] Umair Jaswal divorced Sana Javed in 2023.[20]
On January 19, 2024, she married former Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik at a ceremony at her home in Karachi. Both posted their wedding images on Instagram.[21]
